A national non-profit organisation

Solidarites Jeunesses is a youth educational organisation, recognised by the French Ministry of Youth and sport.It organises short and long-term international youth international volunteer workcamps, projects with disadvantaged publics, training sessions, international solidarity projects and manages residential and community centres in rural areas.

Trough these activities, Solidarites Jeunesses aims to promote:

-volunteers action by all, especially those who disadvantaged on local national and international projects

-Local and community development, in which individuals, different cultures, the environment and cultural heritage are all taken into account

-Getting together different generations, different cultures, different countries...

-doing something practical and tangible towards establishing peace

An international movement

Solidarites Jeunesses is the French branch of YOUTH ACTION FOR PEACE, a movement created after the 1^st World War in order to reconcile people of different nationalities, especially youth.

REGIONAL ASSOCIATIONS

Solidarites Jeunesses unites a number of local and regional associations who share the same aims and work together to form a national entity.
